Thank you for posting. THIN or FIT screams at us every day, and no matter how thin or fit we may be, it simply is never enough. My thin friends take diet pills hoping to burn that “extra bit” of fat. They mistake “skinny” for “thin.” My fit friends go to the gym on a daily basis, hoping to gain that “extra bit” of muscle. They mistake “bodybuilder” for “fit.” How many more mistakes can we afford to make? I’m not saying everyone is perfect just the way they are, because obesity is a problem. But societal pressures to get thin should end at getting in shape, not at becoming anorexic. Time for a positive affirmation: today, I look good.
