Sunday Best: Dotty about the Funk Fair
Well, the sun was shining bright in Edinburgh yesterday – a very rare sight so far this year!! I took advantage of the lovely weather and strolled around the very charming streets of Bruntsfield licking St.Luca’s honeycomb ice-cream and catching up with my hubby who has been super busy with work this week. I wore one of my all time favourite dresses (that never fails to put a smile on my face) a cute little polka-dot silk dress by Topshop Boutique. I teamed this with my ever faithful red Topshop Klara flats:-)

Edinburgh’s Funk Fair was being held at Christ Church on Morningside Road and I could not wait to see all the pretty one-off vintage fashion pieces and retro home furnishings which would be on display.
Established in 2004, the Funk Fair is Edinburgh’s original vintage market which circulates between two Edinburgh venues and more recently in Dundee. With a hand-picked mixture of old and new, the Funk Fair delivers a top-notch shopping experience with vintage chic, retro classics and contemporary design. Regular stalls include beautiful vintage designs by Vi Nouveau and exquisite customized furniture by Second-Hand Rose who both featured at my Exile or Exhibit Pop up Shop.

There were so many goodies on display. I fell in love with one stall’s collection of 90′s Vogue magazines and a lovely 60′s shift. There were also some delicious cup-cakes on sale to keep John happy while I browsed the rails. All in all a great day out. If you love vintage and all things kitsch and girlie then the Funk Fair is not to be missed.x

Your dress and shoes are so girly and so pretty. Looks great.
